Every now and then you see something you aren’t expecting. On this Saturday morning I met this unit on the BNSF raceway. Herzog calls this their Multi-Purpose Machine. This unit is full on railroad ties and between each car is rails to allow the crane to transverse the cars to unload. It is self propelled and the website states it can be run by one operator. I know it was definitely not what I was expecting to see.
