Canadian National SD70ACE’s

For all my time taking photos of trains one of the railroads I have not caught is Canadian National. Today I was lucky enough to catch two Canadian National SD70ACE’s going south in Kenosha county. I like the way the SD70ACE looks and this train was hauling some cars with Wisconsin Central markings and some CNW markings.

Some times you see a process that looks different and you want to try it. Over last weekend I picked up a book on 52 photo projects and saw this technique to convert to color infrared photos. I like the effect but its not good for all photos. I think its nice to see something different.

Helm Motive Power GP38-2

This winter I was lucky to find my two panoramas but then I got lucky to catch this locomotive. This GP38-2 was running the Union Pacific Local in Racine, Wisconsin. Was not as good of a day as I had hoped but at least I caught something different.

Norfolk Southern Oil Train

This was caught on the Canadian Pacific rails in Racine, Wisconsin. NS 1004 which is a SD70ACe is leading this train. Such a long line of cars heading its way to fuel the world.
